Privacy policy

Last updated 15 October 2026

This policy explains what data Ekze collects when you use the Ekze service at app.ekze.ai and this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have a question, write to [email protected].

What we collect

Account details. Sign-in is handled by Clerk. We receive your Clerk user ID and the name and email address your sign-in method shares, such as your Google account. We use your verified email address to contact you about your account and your workflows.

Workflows and runs. The prompts you write, the workflows created from them, and each run's inputs, outputs, step results, errors, approvals, and usage.

Connections. When you connect a service, the credentials it issues are stored by our integration gateway on our own servers and used only to run your workflows. You can disconnect a service at any time.

Technical data. Our servers and network provider record technical details of requests, such as IP addresses and timestamps, to operate and secure the service.

How we use it

We use this data to provide Ekze: to sign you in, build and run your workflows, show you their results, keep the service secure, and answer your questions. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

AI processing

When you write a prompt or a workflow includes an AI step, the relevant text and data are sent to OpenAI to generate the result. OpenAI's API terms state that data sent through its API is not used to train its models by default.

Service providers

Some of these providers process data in the United States. We will update this policy before adding providers, for example for payments or email.

How long we keep it

A run's inputs, outputs, and step results are deleted 30 days after the run ends. Other account data is kept while your account is active. Encrypted backups may keep copies for up to six months.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies. The Ekze app uses cookies that Clerk needs to keep you signed in. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can object to how we use it. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above. For significant changes we will also tell you by email.
